HOT TAKE Spotlight: The Big C, Now What?…By: Chris Larson

We’ve all been there. The phone call that, after a certain age, we live in fear of. It may be you, it may be a friend, or a relative, a loved one or even an unloved one (hey, we all have one of those people in our lives).

CANCER.

How bad is it? How did it happen? How long do we have until it’s…too late?

What are the treatment options?

All we know for sure in that flashbang of fresh grim reality is that something evil is happening to the body, from the inside. And unless drastic measures are taken, immediately, then death awaits.

Do nothing, and die.

And so, our survival instincts kick in, and we set about fighting this new threat.

To many of us who have awakened to the alarming state of decline in our government these past four years, who’ve answered that “phone call”, it is painfully clear that the party we’ve trusted for so long is not what we thought it was. The Republican party no longer believes in the ideals stated in our own platform. The Republican party has failed to uphold our Founding Constitution, and stood by while the Democrats chip away at every one of country’s foundations.

We must face it: the Republican party is riddled with cancer. Yes, even in “red state” South Dakota.

Especially in South Dakota.

The body of the SD Republican Party is right now in stage 4 “Moderate cancer”. The “Moderates” have metastasized to the point that they have overwhelmed all of our “major organs”. To be clear, I am not saying that Moderates are a cancer to humanity; they are a cancer to the Republican Party leadership. The truth is that in our state the leaders of this party are not conservative in any real sense of the word. State Party Chairman, Senate Leader, all three of our federal representatives, Secretary of State, most of our mayors, the Governor. No, we are being governed by Moderates in Conservatives clothes.

The strategy of the Moderates is a cunning one. They hide in plain sight. Since they know that in SD most of the voting public won’t vote for someone with a D next to their name, they find willing candidates who lack strong convictions to run as “Republican” knowing full well their only guiding principles are ambition and pragmatism, which they trumpet as virtue. The Moderate congratulates himself on his wishy-washiness with pronouncements such as “I don’t vote for the party, I vote for the person”, which only means that they are confessing their ability to be manipulated by conmen with a decent sales pitch.

The label “conservative” has been hijacked by RINO’s to confuse the general public -the Normies. And it works! Your average Normie has no idea how bad it is. They actually think that the Republicans in SD leadership are lookin out for us, keeping our state safe from the leftist Orcs who’ve overrun every big city in America. But they’re just lookin out for themselves, as it turns out. And they’re running a crew of lackeys who do the dirty work on the ground. These are the ones who GET THINGS DONE. “South Dakota is open for business!” is their motto. But the question is, “Whose business?”

What, you don’t believe me, Normie friend? Well, let’s do a PET scan to find out conclusively just how bad it really is. In a PET scan, they inject a radioactive sugar into the veins which attracts the cancer cells. In our Republican party analogy, our scan simply involves comparing these RINO/Moderates to the ideals laid out in our party platform.

You can read it in plain English right here>

We must ask ourselves how many of these ideals that SD Republican leaders really believe in. Because they sure don’t act like it.

Moderates hollow out our conservative beliefs and wear them like a skinsuit, parading around in that label to pilfer votes from the actual conservative candidates who they are running against. We saw this play being run countless times in our recent primary over the past few months. Incumbents with a voting record that scores below 50% on conservative ratings spending gobs of corporate donor money to fool the voters into thinking they can be trusted to conserve something of our way of life. It’s like mattress sale ads. 100% fake, but effective. What made it even harder to watch was the members of our own party in leadership roles spending their own PAC money and endorsing these obviously moderate candidates and leaving truly earnest conversative candidates hanging out to dry.

Many of us who are fairly new to this whole local politics game openly wonder how the Moderates came to have so much power, in our state and at every other level of government. How did the Uniparty come to be?

If you asked a Moderate, they would claim that it’s because their “middle of the road” (i.e. mushy) worldview is simply the most popular with the voters. I believe that it’s due to the fact that since they are unmoored from any ideological firmament, they are more easily controlled; for sale to the highest bidder. I mean, does anyone really believe that a cretin like Lee Schoenbeck is passionate about carbon emissions? Or that Pat Powers, who just this week was sent out by his handler, whoever that is, to attack a Pro-Life warrior and true Patriot Jon Hansen, somewhere in his dark little heart is harboring a deep love for our founding principles? Or that GOP Chairman John Wiik spends any of his time and energy trying to help truly conservative folks get elected? Or that Kristi Noem cares deeply for the people of South Dakota? Or that Thune, Dusty and Rounds are going to conserve even a tiny fraction of our traditions out there in the Great Swamp they muck around in? Certainly not!

The Moderates who read this will accuse me of gatekeeping. But gatekeeping implies that we have control of our own house, which we clearly do not. What I am advocating for is an Eviction of the Moderates from our party leadership. Then we can commence with the gatekeeping. This will be done by applying litmus tests, to ensure that our party stays true to actual Conservatism. Moderates are welcome to join our party, vote for our candidates, and even run their own. However, leadership roles will be rigidly reserved for true Conservatives/Patriots.

What is Conservatism?

Since this descriptive has been watered down to meaninglessness by the moderates in our system, an update to the term is in order.

Conservatives strive to actually conserve the values of our Founding Fathers’ original intent for governance.

To provide clarity to the agenda that we are faced with, here are a list of ideals, practices and laws that we have to reclaim and conserve:

  • Property Rights – This means no using eminent domain for private gain (“the market” that the shills for the CO2 pipeline yammer on about).
  • Party Distinction– there should be no “Uniparty” that effortlessly agree to spend our tax dollars on never-ending government programs and foreign adventures. Democrats have a platform that they adhere to, and so do Republicans. Clarity is paramount.
  • Protection for pre-born babies– Abortion is murder. It’s not “healthcare”, a “choice” or “privacy”.
  • Privacy– Our intelligence services have no business spying on us, ever.
  • Innocence of the youth – No porn in schools, no drag shows for kids, no “transitioning” of any kind, no promotion of any sexual deviations from the norm.
  • The US Constitution – The Republican party platform explicitly states this issue as one of primacy.
  • Integrity of our elections systems– Transparency at all levels, always.
  • Our country’s borders – It is now commonly understood that the intentions of both Moderates and Democrats is to choke out the conservative, Patriot America First voices in our country by allowing the mass influx of foreign invaders, so that they can enjoy perpetual rule.
  • Smaller Government – $38 Trillion in debt is an epidemic. STOP SPENDING MONEY.

Anyone who acts against ANY ONE of these ideals has forfeited their ability to wear the Conservative label, or hold leadership roles. Simple as that.

Together, with God’s grace, we can beat this cancer, and renew health to the Republican Party body. Many of our friends have been fighting for years. More of us, I think, have just “got off the phone”, and are still processing the bad news. But like actual cancer, the first step is to identify it, then isolate and attack it, with whatever tools you have available.

It’s beyond time to purge the Moderates from the top ranks of our party. Support the Good Guys like Jon Hansen, Karla Lems, Leah Anderson, Toby Doeden, Bethany Soye, Aaron Aylward, Scott Odenbach, Elizabeth May, John Sjaarda, Tom Pischke, Amy Bruner, Norman Woods, and the countless others who know what time it is; and who are the target of attacks from the Moderate Neocon Establishment RINOsWe must rally around them, support them and other conservatives with our time and money, and win.

“You will recognize them by their fruits” —- Jesus, Matthew 7:16
