Illinois Governor joins the effort to buy South Dakota: by South Dakota Voice

Out-of-state people continue to their bid to buy South Dakota.

Recently we learned that a video game developer from CALIFORNIA donated $100,000 and a political action organization (PAC) from COLORADO donated over $450,000 to force South Dakota to adopt California style elections (Amendment H). Then a few weeks back, we noted that the proponents for RL21 received $200,000 from a COLORADO company to make it easier for companies to take private land.

Then yesterday, we discovered that the ILLINOIS Governor’s PAC sent $500,000 to the proponents of Amendment G.

What does a governor from Illinois, a video game developer from California, or Colorado companies have to do with South Dakota?

We don’t need California, Illinois, or Colorado messes here. When we need to change, we can easily make changes on our own.

And when we need your money or your ideas, we’ll reach out! Until then, please stay out of our business. South Dakota isn’t for sale!

And we are voting NO, just because we don’t like your meddling.
