Trump Pledges To End The “Green New Scam”: by Amanda Radke

Contrary to what proponents of RL21 will tell you, this government grift is greenwashing at best, using your tax dollars, for a land grab.

I shouldn’t be surprised by the final hour attack ads that are coming out from the “Yes On RL21” camp; yet I’m dumfounded by how they are painting everyday South Dakotans who simply want to protect their private property rights and maintain a voice at a local level.

This well-funded group is comprised of seven major entities (not we the people) who are pouring millions into perpetuating the lie that they are in line with Trump’s Energy Agenda. This is laughable, since Trump has committed to defunding the Green New Deal, and Robert F. Kennedy is right by his side talking about the carbon pipeline scam as a mechanism for control — a land grab and reallocation of wealth.

Simply stated, they are repackaging and wrapping their boondoggle with a pretty bow, pretending it’s not using billions of our tax payer dollars to take what is not theirs through the Green New Deal and the Inflation Reduction Act.

The proof is the in the pudding — The Biden Administration just gifted Gevo, the sustainable aviation plant planned for Lake Preston, SD that would tie into this pipeline — a guaranteed $1.46 billion loan.

Who is really buying into this insane fantasy that burying carbon — the building block of life — into a permanent landfill is a good idea?

They know it’s a scam, and they know this project is built on the premise of a lie, but greed, corruption, power, and corporate cronyism is hell bent on taking what’s ours, of destroying everything that is good for South Dakota citizens, for their own personal gain.

Using nearly $2.6 million dollars to attack us, they call us a “small vocal minority.” They call us “too emotional.” They call us “wackadoodles.” They claim we are “racists,” “Nazis,” and the lies extend to calling us “extreme California-style liberals” funded by the likes of Jane Fonda.

But the truth is…

We are funded by $10 and $20 donations. We have raised money through homemade pie auctions and art donations.

We are farmers and ranchers.

We are small business owners.

We are parents and grandparents.

We are friends and neighbors.

We are every day South Dakotans. And we love this state.

We care about our families, our communities, the land, and the future of agriculture.

We follow the Constitution and our patriotism runs deep in our veins.

We are strong, determined, and united. Our numbers grow each day.

We believe in protecting our private property rights.

We want to maintain our voice on a local level. We believe decisions are best made close to home by people invested in the community.

We are standing up against a shady backroom deal made in Pierre by career politicians & a private, out-of-state corporation.

We refuse to bend a knee to the Green New Deal. We know carbon is plant food, and it shouldn’t be buried in a deadly pipeline.

We refuse to let our local governance be stripped away from us, consolidated to just a few at the state level.

In South Dakota, we may be open for business, but we are not for sale. RL21 isn’t good for communities. It puts our children and grandchildren at risk. It is the death blow to family farms and ranches. And it’s simply not the South Dakota way.

Don’t buy the million-dollar lies.

Please, vote NO on RL21.
