We’re Tired, Very TIRED: by South Dakota Voice

We see the problems clearly now and there is no turning back.

It’s as if a fog has lifted and we can see the world clearly now. What we see is not good. So we are TIRED. Not physically tired, but mentally exhausted from all the insanity that crept into our world while we weren’t paying attention. We are…

Tired of the false advertising.

Why on earth did I receive a mailer saying that Referred Law 21 is part of Trump’s energy plan. I don’t know how any part of RL21 is tied to Trump and can’t imagine that taking away zoning and permitting from cities and the counties would be on Trump’s radar.

It’s almost as crazy as the proponents of Amendment H sending flyers saying independents and veteran’s can’t vote.

It was so absurd, I want to vote NO just because I hate people lying to me.

Tired of the outsiders trying to change our way of life.

I am tired of people from California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, and Virginia sending millions of dollars to change our state (Illinois Gov, The Sad Truth). I know this might be surprising to an elite in Los Angeles, Denver, or Chicago, but we really aren’t stupid. We know what is going on in our state and are perfectly capable of managing our own affairs.

Tired of fighting big money.

Why on earth do we have cable companies placing their cables above and below and person’s land without paying anything. And why are they doing it when they have city easements a few feet away. In my book, this is stealing. You can’t do something on someone’s land without their permission. And if they agree with the intrusion and want to charge you, you have to pay. It’s their land. It isn’t free just because you are with a big company.

Tired of having people say that common sense is wrong.

The CO2 pipeline eminent domain argument makes my head hurt. Why should a taxpayer-subsidized company be able to seize someone’s land for a project that is not cost effective without taxpayer credits. That means the taxpayer is paying for someone else to take their land. Wow!

And I’m not sure where the “electronic systems are secure” crowd has been living for the past decade. In my world, computer systems are hacked all the time. I receive a notice every couple of months about my medical records, insurance information, social media account, etc. being hacked. These are billion dollar companies, so I think it is safe to assume our election hardware and software in South Dakota can be hacked. So I can’t understand why anyone would say random hand count audits of our election results are a waste of time.

We’ve had enough. We’re TIRED. We’re done.

If you are a company, stay in your lane. Don’t try to take something that belongs to someone else. And don’t try to get taxpayers to cover things that are your responsibility. If you are an out of state organization that is trying to buy influence and power, stay home. And if you live here and are trying to pull the wool over our eyes, stop. The wool is gone. We see everything clearly and even though we are TIRED we are going to stand up for what is right.
