Minnehaha’s GOP Central Committee Vice Chair Jennifer Foss joins GovWatch to share her story and her vision on how she’d like to focus on unifying the Republican party in SD amidst the severe “eating our own” division that has been happening within the party since 2022.
I enjoyed talking to her so much that I didn’t even realize we chatted for almost an hour! It felt like 20 minutes. Her authenticity and pure desires for unity despite differences in our beliefs as Republicans was very clear to me, and I respect that she’s focused on relationships and finding common ground with anyone in the Republican party for the sake of moving the party forward instead of cutting out anyone who doesn’t believe exactly as she does. To me, that’s the sign of a true leader, and I think Minnehaha is fortunate to have someone like her!
