Grassroots wins with a flurry of election related bills

We had a few election related bills today that sent the grassroots off celebrating into the weekend.

SB73, sponsored by Sen Amber Hulse was deferred to the 41st legislative day. A WIN for the grassroots who testified regarding numerous issues with the bill.

SB48, was pulled from the agenda today. More to follow on that, but the first iteration was a train wreck.

HB1066 (the grassroots bill!!!) has it’s second reading in the House.  Please email your house Reps to VOTE YES in this bill. https://sdlegislature.gov/Session/Bill/25736

Please also take a few minutes and review and send supporting comments regarding HB1062 (another grassroots bill!!). This bill will be heard in HSA on Monday morning.
